In the mid-1980s, Bodegas Castano began to bottle red, rose and white wines, improving their quality using new technologies and careful winemaking processes. It is located in Yecla. In 1990, it began to export its wines and obtained international distinctions and recognition. The modernisation of the winery has involved the construction of a new building with an area of 3,000 square metres.
